By booking a Post-Cyclone Electrical Inspection with DFE Electrical , you agree to the following terms and conditions:
Inspection Scope:This service includes a visual and operational assessment of your electrical system to determine whether it is safe for power restoration.If your system is safe and compliant, a certificate of electrical safety will be issued for submission to Energex or relevant authorities.
Compliance Report & Recommendations:If non-compliant or unsafe conditions are identified, a compliance report will be provided detailing the issues and necessary repairs required to meet AS/NZS electrical safety standards.Recommendations for remedial work will be outlined, but repairs are not included in the inspection price.
Exclusions:The $199 inspection fee covers only the inspection, compliance report, and certification if compliant.Repairs, upgrades, or additional electrical work required for compliance are not included in the inspection price and will be quoted separately.
This inspection does not cover flood-damaged appliances, equipment testing, or insurance assessments unless specifically arranged.Access & Safety Requirements:The inspection can only be performed if the property is safe to access and not submerged or structurally compromised.If conditions prevent safe entry or assessment, the inspection may be rescheduled or cancelled at DFE Electrical’s discretion.
Payment & Booking Terms:Full payment of $199 is required at the time of booking to confirm your inspection.If the inspection is cancelled due to unsafe conditions, a partial refund or rescheduling may be offered at DFE Electrical’s discretion.
Energex & Power Restoration:The issuance of a certificate of compliance does not guarantee immediate reconnection by Energex or other authorities.It is the property owner’s responsibility to submit the compliance certificate to Energex or their electricity provider for power restoration.
